Me and Katt started off with lots of dancey fun at Mosh.
At 2.00am we walked around the City Centre singing songs by Foals and Hadouken! because the crappy middle floor at Mosh wouldn't play anything by either band.
We eventually got to Sophbeck and continued the dancey fun.
4.30am. We were both utterly fucked.
We were both pretty wasted by the time we headed home, which was about 5.30am. Katt pretended to be a tree.
Katt's shoes hurt, but so did walking on the glass-strewn pavement.
Then she stole a sock from a washing line. We put a rose in it and gave it to Neil.
Like me and Katt, Neil was wide awake, so at about 6.30am we took some blankets to the park and proceeded to get even more wasted. All these pictures look like it was really dark, but it was broad daylight by this point.
We went to the nearby playground, where we all went a little bit mental for an hour. Neil ran around in circles a lot. Me and Katt played on the swings. It was utter bliss.
About 2 seconds after this pic, Neil fell off the swing. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. I would give anything to be able to go back and get a picture/video of it.
Then he tried to walk down the slide as Katt tried to walk up it. They landed like this. It was the second funniset thing ever.
Katt then sat on the weird baby-seat swing and listened to her Ipod.
Neil, in his wasted state, couldn't figure out why she couldn't hear him talking.
Then we came up and sang The Magic Position by Patrick Wolf so fucking loudly. It was a beautiful moment.
It was important for our general health and well-being that we drank some water. Tesco was open by now so we went there. We got some rather odd looks.
We returned to the park ,which was now basking in glorious sunshine.
I found a fluorescent McDonalds jacket.
One of Katt's rare ventures out of the white quilt.
Me: "What is your dog's name?"
Dog-walking Lady: "She's called Kofi"
Me: "Oh! Like Kofi Annan, UN Secretary General"
Dog-walking Lady: Um...."
Saturday night/Sunday morning was completely incredibly fantastic. I'll love and cherish it forever.
